Of all days not to have my camera with me!

I am certain the guy standing on the corner holding a sign would have let me take a picture of him. His sign said, “Why Lie? Need Weed.”

I’ll tell you what: His sign got our attention. We sat speechless, then giggled.

And would you believe that while we waited in the left turning lane, someone in the right lane pulled up to the light and gave him money?

Each corner near the mall in our little town has a person holding one cardboard sign or another. I read them all and sometimes am able to give a little.

I certainly wouldn’t have contributed toward his “need,” but I respected his candor…and I appreciated the laugh.
